| Notes |
- Helen Wilson wrote a book called 'The Mulga Trees', about her family's life in Tasmania and Western Australia. She was an excellent author, and describes life in early mining communities with great insight. She won a scholarship to Perth Modern school and went on to write many books.'The House at Miller's Corner' is about her mother's life in Adelaide before she married William Mayne. Both women seem to have been outstanding people.
