• Notes

  On top of the family grave in Constatine churchyard, a stone reads: Sacred to the memory of James MAYN who departed this life on the 20th day of September 1814 aged 87 years. Also of Mary his wife who departed this life on the 17th day of December 1795 aged 63 years. Also of Jonathan MAYN son of the above who departed this life on the 26th of January 1835 aged 75 years. And Jane his wife who departed this life on the 22nd of August 1835 aged 73 years. And also of Eliza their fourth daughter who departed this life on the 9th of June 1815 aged 15 years. They rest in hope.
