  There is a mystery behind this family. Arthur was a grandson, not a son of Frederick William Boxer. In photos of FW Boxer and his wife Melanie, they have a daughter, called (on the photo) Missy Boxer, a common diminutive of the time for teenage girls in Canada. There is an interesting entry on the 1911 census of Quebec. It has a Boxer family living together : JV Boxer 54 Zephirina 53 Arthur 23 I wonder if these are the missing parents of Arthur Boxer who was supposedly adopted by Frederick William Boxer. This child would have been born in 1888. Is there another child of Frederick Nephew Boxer who has not been accounted for, the JV, born 1857?
