| Notes |
- Charlotte was working as a schoolmistress on the 1871 census. I can't find her husband but she is not listed as a widow. Her daughter Charlotte was working as a dressmaker and they were living at The Mount in Hampstead. Charlotte came to New Zealand with three of her daughters on the 'Orthes' which arrived in Lyttelton, 16 Feb 1879. Her husband was dead. Her eldest daughter Charlotte is not listed on the ship. But at some stage she went to New Zealand and then NSW.
There was an inquest into Charlotte KELLY'S death in New Zealand.
