  Fourth son of Norman and Antoinette, but third surviving son , was born in 1913, and now lives in Toronto with hissecond wife, Luise Fuerst, the eldest child, and only daughter of Friederichand Luis Fuerst, of Aschau, Burgenland, Austria. Norman started his highereducation in Ottawa, at a Catholic college, but, when his parents moved back toMontreal in 1937, he came back with them, and finished off his degree (Arts)requirements at Sir George Williams College, now Concordia University. Hesubsequently went to work for the college, first as an Assistant to the Registrarand Bursar, but later, as a teacher in both the College,and its satellite school, an involvement that continueduntil he finally took retirement in 1983. His first marriage was to Dorothy Cahilla, from a Catholiccouple from New York. They had two children -Thor, born in1947, and Monica, born in 1951. \ par
